I just got hired today at McDonald's in my town, i'm a 20 year old female, and i've heard my friends talk crap about people that work at McD's. Even my boyfriend says it's crap basically...he says that working at Chick-Fil-A has the high end people work there. So would that make me low end to work at McDonald's? Ok, so Sunday i broke and dislocated my ankle playing ice hockey. I'm 18 yrs old, home schooled, i live at home with my parents 15 yr old brother and dog, and almost done with high school. I will probably need surgery to put in pins to hold the bones back together, i'll know more tomorrow when i get to see the orthopedic surgeon. So anyways, the day after i broke my ankle, my mom was already enrolled in a 2 week long exercise cl, that runs every week day, for about 8 hrs a day, and it's a 45 min drive from our house. While i was laying in the ER, high on pain meds, waiting for the doctor to come and set my ankle and put it in a cast, my mom was trying to find ways that she could still go to her cl, even the next day. Even after the nurse had told her that i would for sure need someone around to help me move around the house, etc. I didn't say anything, but that really did hurt my feelings, and made me feel pretty worthless. So the next day she left me at home around 8 am, and came home at lunch time, but made sure to mention that she would be late in getting back to her cl because she came home....so i don't know why she even bothered. The next day she didn't come home at lunch. My dad gets home at 1 pm, but he's usually not in a good mood after work, and all he does when he comes home is treat me like some pathetic invalid, which doesn't do any good. My brother has been taking good care of me, getting me whatever i need and letting me watch tv when i want to, and my dog is here to keep my company....but i still feel dejected that my mom has been so insensitive and eager to just get away. And it ran all over me last night, that after she'd be gone all day long, she got all over me for not keeping my foot elevated and iced. I mean, she wasn't here all day long, and then she comes home and yells at me for that? So anyways, should i just get over this, or do you think i have a point in feeling kinda sad and dejected?

I'm the kind of student who barely talks in cl. I always do my work but sometimes daydream during lectures. Unmanageable straight hair?

Sisters a *****, advice?

My sister has broken up with her boyfriend and has moved back into the house (she's 18), I'm 15 and our mom who broke up with out dad when I was 3 is all over the place and needs help round the house because her job is extremely stressful and she works for 5 days of the week from 7am to 2-3am (it varies). Ever since she's moved back she's become more of a ******* lazy self centered egotistical cow than she ever was. I was dyslexic and had to be tutored for a year or got to remedial school. Anyway, my mom always bought her gifts and paid everything for her from Irish dancing, ballet, tennis, guitar, singing, netball etc. and bought her make up shampoo expensive clothes all the time. I got a few things a year and was grateful, I even taught myself the guitar. And she used to beat me up when I was younger and get her friends to join in as well. I wouldn't put shrek 2 on for her so she kicked me down the stairs and pulled a knife out on me and scratched my arms to piece. I pushed her over AND GOT THE BLAME. My mom even payed for three driving tests, permits licenses etc. and she failed every single test. She's even gone out tonight at 12:00am to cheat on her boyfriends and when I asked why she said "Because I'm a knob and started laughing. She would always lie about how I used to beat her and say things like "You;re the reason mom and dad got divorced, you;re the second unloved child etc. You're ugly, no one loves you" and I'd always feel like **** after wards. The worst of all are the puppy mills. A professional breeder/lover of the breeder only breeds for a healthy dog and they do the genetic tests and they weed out the week lines. The other ones do not. I have been abusing DXM (the active ingredient in cough syrup -dextromethorphan) for almost 2 years on and off. The first thing you need to do is get a harness for each cat. Once you have those put it on the cats. You want them to get use to them before you attach the leash. Let them walk, run, roll with them on while you are there supervising. Do this for about 10 minutes, then take them off and praise them give them each a treat if they like them. Do this everyday until you can tell they are comfortable wearing them, then attach the leash walk each cat separately inside. Once they are okay with it. Venture outdoors. This is all baby steps. Take them for a short walk stop and let them look around. As far as to how long this will take you this will be up to your cats.Best of luck;^)

We adopted Keegan from a cat rescue organization 2.5 months ago. He had been owned at one time but put out when his owner moved, I don't know how long he was on his own, but he was with other cats. Heart issues! Please help... I'm very concerned!?

I have been experiencing a fluttering heartbeat, where the heart feels kind of light as it beat and I also get a flush feeling in my arms and head after getting up from laying down. I also get a heavy heartbeat or thump, almost like my heart wants to slow down and pump hard once. The fluttering in recent days happened either every day at least once, but as much as 3 times. Happens when I'm laying down or walking around.. doesn't really matter. But this morning the hard pump, that happens just once and then the heart goes back to pumping like normal has happened several times this morning.. Should I be overly concerned? Should I be seeking medical istance right away? It's also important to mention that I don't have any noticeable chest pain when this occurs.. It's just very unnerving.. What should I do? Im a high school pitcher, and i have ok location and my season just ended. i have a just below average speed fastball and a slowish curve. im a decent pitcher but i really want to blow it by hitters now, and at this level finesse pitchers dont make it as much. Ok people so to help velocity, excercise your legs, i actually have strong legs, but i still cant get that torque on my fastball. But im 5'11 and 135 pounds does my weight have anything to do with it, and other than long toss how does excerising legs help pitching speed. and i throw 2 seam fast, whenever i throw a 4 seemer it seems to go even slow. is my 4 seemer supposed to go faster than my 2 seemer?

We have an 8 year old neighbor who lives his mother next door for a month at a time, and often is away, living with his father across town. When he is living next door he tries to come over and play with my son, who is 9. This is fine until I tell the little boy it is time for them to clean up and go home so my son can come in and get ready for dinner. Then he got up and ran toward his yard with my son's toys exclaiming, "I'm taking these!". I went next door and explained to his mother what happened and she scolded him in front of me. He stood there with a puzzled, dumb look on his face insisting that he didn't steal anything, he was just playing with them and using them. Again, she told him that was stealing if he didn't ask, and he kept standing there with a puzzled look on his face, saying, huh? Plus my son has tried to play ball with this boy, you know, throwing a football or playground ball. When you throw a ball to this kid he just stands there with his arms straight out and lets the ball hit him in the face. I feel sorry for him but now it's only to an extent because it seems like his parents just haven't taught him anything. He roams our street for hours sometimes and you never see him mom outside once to check on him. My computer won't start up?

A few months ago, my pc was running perfectly until my sisters boyfriend suggested that I clean it because it was getting dusty. We took the whole thing apart, cleaned it, and put everything back together. Now, when I turn it on, it goes to the screen that has the boot menu and BIOS options. After that screen, it goes to this blank screen with a blinking underscore at the top left corner and stays there. It doesn't get past that screen. If I try to go to boot menu or BIOS settings, it freezes the screen and doesn't even get to the screen with the underscore. Help?

Is bedhead manipulator good for scene hair?

Very good... I just got some and it works pretty well for my hair (Yes, it's "scene") First, what I do is get a comb and rub some between my fingers and then rub it onto the comb. (Make sure there is not too much... it gets your hair greasy if you overuse) and then I comb it through my hair while rotating the cmb sideways almost like you would do if you are using a straightener to make your hair flip outwards. It defines the layers. Since it does not hold very well, I also add some Got 2B Glued hair glue to it... It holds extremely well. I usually keep the longest layer pin-straight and poof up the top layer(s). Finish it off with some hairspray and maybe a bow for the "Scene" look. If you don't have any Got 2B Glued, use egg whites... I know it sounds weird, but it has about the same effect of the hair glue if you don't have it... It's what the Brit Punks used to use. :)

I can put carriage returns into a byte variable type, but when I start doing the same thing to a byte array it treats it as if I am trying to p it a integer value. I need an ascii code carriage return into a byte array. I've tried using a string with /r/n and converting that into ascii bytes, but instead of treating the /r/n into the return newline it treats them as literals which isn't going to work.

Well actually I'm the same way lol I don't think there is anything you can do because that's just the way she is and she doesn't like to make decisions. She is telling you that whatever you'd like to do she would be fine doing it, so pretty much she is being open minded by accepting everything you have planned for her. She's the type of person that is not picky with anything that y'all want to do. If you look at it it's actually good that she's like that or would you like to have a girlfriend the complete opposite where she would want to do EVERYTHING her way and if you wanted to do something she wouldn't want to do it because she wants to do what she wants?

I was admitted into UCLA as an Undeclared/Humanities Major. I've had straight As up until junior year. Senior year, I had a lot of personal issues that destroyed my focus and thus resulted in my grades dropping. I currently take 5 AP cles and 1 Honors cl. The cles I got a C in are Honors Physics and AP Calculus AB. I'm hoping that because the subjects I got Cs in had nothing to do with my major, I will be a bit safer. I am working on improving my second semester grades (and I am more emotionally stable now). Does anyone know what could possibly happen to me? =(

How can I tell if I have a keystroke trojan on my computer?

My ex seems to know all the places I visit online and someone mentioned he may have installed some sort of spyware on my computer. I never really let him use it without my supervision, but you never know...he was pretty computer proficient. I am always running Mcafee's latest spyware and Adaware on my computer to see if anything is on the computer that shouldn't be. However, is there a foolproof way I can tell I have some sort of keystroke stuff on here? I thought those spyware things were good enough.

How can i know if my dog is a nuisance?

we just moved into a new neighborhood about two weeks ago. our dog is about a year and a half years old. he has only barked maybe twice all night long since we got him. last night being the last time and he is continuing to bark this morning. how can we detour him from barking so much? how do we know if we're upsetting the neighbors. we did have the people right next door come over and meet us and told us they liked living here because it was a nice, quiet, safe neighborhood. we didn't know to take that as them saying it is a nice neighborhood or if they were saying our dog was already a nuisance since it barked all night long the first night. also we had taken him walking the night before last and he started up barking again last night and into this morning. my husband thinks we should get a shock collar. will a shock collar hurt him though? any other suggestions. i have kept spraying him in the face with water but that don't help.

Lost Thousands of Emails?

I have used YAHOO! since the 90's. I'm a dedicated YAHOO! user and have never had a problem. However tonight, when I went to search my emails (I've kept copies of sent and received emails going back to 2000) I saw that my archive only goes back to 2005, now. What gives with that? Has anyone else had this problem or know why they would be gone? I'm a very avid computer user and it's nothing obvious ... like me deleting them or something like that.

Don't go through changes just to make people laugh because that's the reason they make fun of you, they can tell you're desperate for friends. There's nothing wrong with you, you're just going through changes that determine who you want to be later on. "I love you" is to be used lightly because it carries a deep meaning, if you're using it with the opposite , their probably freaked out cause their hormones are kicking in and they take the words differently now.

SO after being two days late for aunt flo i decided to test. I dragged my self to wal-mart and spent $10.54 sent on a first response test. I drove home thinking that I was just going to get another negative and that my period would show up in the morning. I called up my best friend put her on speaker while i took the test, guess what?? IT WAS POSITIVE. Within seconds two dark lines appeared. I thought i was dreaming. I garbed the test and my keys and made it ova to her place. Showed it to her and she said yep your pregnant congrats. I just couldn't believe it, said it had to be a false positive. I took the sencond one and within seconds there were two dark lines again. I am so happy that it has finally happened for me and i kno that everyone reading this time is also coming. I just wanted to share my experience with you guys and say thanks for all the helpful advice in my time of need. Feel free to leave comments or advice that you guys think i may need. I just recently downloaded GIMP 2.6 I believe it is. And somehow I accidently undocked my tools options from my toolbox. I have my tools options up in a seperate tab, but I can't seem to figure out how to dock it back onto my Toolbox. Please help me. I have an audition in under a week and have had very little notice, so I can't really learn anything new. Most of my songs in my repertoire that I'm happy with, could be considered to be quite overdone.
