Does refrigeration cause Nuva Ring to be inactive?

I went to my gynecologist and had her switch me to Nuva Ring. Upon giving me my first ring, she told me to refrigerate for the two weeks until I put it in. I went onto the website and it specifically states not to refrigerate it. I took it out immediately and it's now being stored at room temperature. It was at 34 degrees Fahrenheit for three days. Will it still work?
