If god can intervene to perform miracles, why cant he intervene to demonstrate his existence directly?

WHy would god value us comming to the right conclusion that he exists? if he is all powerful, he could make himself directly observable to us. wouldnt his priority be to make himself so evident no one would dought his existence, to get on with what he really values? our love and acceptance. by removing any uncertaintly regarding his existence, he would be facilitating the best conditions to gain that love and acceptance
