Wanting to Buy another atiel?

I am wanting to buy another atiel as company for my other atiel, but my atiel is only abit older then 3 months. So I don't know his gender.So I was thinking if I buy another atiel and they turn out to be opposite genders then they will breed... and I have never had a bird that was mine, my brother use to have a bird when he was younger but back then I was very little, and my nana has an aviary and has had one for a long time. so here is my problem, my atiel is still be tamed and is getting better every day, but if I get another bird will he not want to be around me any more and want to stay with the new bird, or will they fight, and what would I have to do if they do breed??? I would really be thankful for some help...
