My parents have opinion that internet and computer are waste of money and time and not a necessity?

I am using internet shops. My father is doctor MBBS and mother is MSc BEd and homemaker. I am getting mad by thinking that how can such educated people think such stupid thing? All my college mates have internet even if their parents are uneducated and backward. My parents even stand on long queues for bill payments instead of online payments. Please help. What is wrong with them? They never go to movies, parties etc and buy only cheap vegetables, commodities. They have no servant at home and my mom does all cleaning etc. Even i am unable to have girlfriend.
