A simple physics question to test a hypothesis. Can you answer it?

Just because one cannot solve this or any other mathematical question which may be posted by anyone professing superlative knowledge in that subject, which is not impressive in itself, doesn't mean one cannot ise that physics and maths is all black or white with no grey areas unlike social sciences
