Thanks for sharing ! I do hope you have seen a therapist for your past losses and if you did was that helpful ? My son joined the Marines 1 1/2 years ago. He is 25 & best thing he ever did and I believe this will be helpful for you & your husband. He can request no infantry due to your family history. Does he only want the Army or is he open to other military ? My son is not infantry due to being only son and we signed for that. I am not sure if that is only the Marines or if the other forces allow that also. Please check as that will ease your mind.
