Asked a girl out, but does she wanna stay friends?

I asked out a girl that i like on a date and she said yes :) hooray right? Well, then later as we were talking she told me that she wanted to hang out as friends for right now, but she still wanted to emphasize that it was in fact a date. So im wondering is she not interested in me, or will that "for right now" change?
